Fluoropolymer Tube Technology (FTT)
Low maintenance is the benefit. Fluoropolymer tubes resist fouling and have excellent UVC permeability which allow germicidal rays to penetrate. Water travels inside tubes and germicidal UV light shines through and provides disinfection. Low pressure high output (non amalgam) UV lamps are used.
First used in the 1980s, the systems have gained popularity due to improved technologies as well as successful installations by today's industry leaders.
